China-Network visited Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education(CSTVE)

On September 23, 2023, Jouni Ahonen, Vice President of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and the Executive Chairman of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences China-Network, was invited to Shanghai for an exclusive interview by the International Collaborations Committee. During the interview, Vice President Ahonen highly praised the International Collaborations Committees 'Interviews with Presidents of Vocational Schools at Home and Abroad' project. He also provided a detailed overview of the development history of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences and the current status of vocational education in Finland. Both parties have also reached preliminary intentions for future long-term cooperation.

On October 21, 2023, Pasi Halmari, Programme Manager, and Jenni Pohjola, the Project Specialist of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences China-Network, visited the International Collaborations Committee. They were received by Director Tian Xiaoyong, Deputy Director Jiang Xiaohua, and Teacher Guan Shanshan at Room 327, Building 1 of Shanghai International Studies University, Songjiang Campus. They discussed the future direction of collaborative projects. The discussions included organizing international conferences, providing training for member institutions of both parties, reciprocal visits, and initiating a series of collaborative research plans. This exchange and discussion reinforced both parties' determination for future collaboration and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation.
